President Donald Trump is in the headlines once more, this time after using darts on two popular musicians: Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift. Though Trump is known to concentrate on politics, he went on social media lately to discuss the rock superstar and pop icon. What he said was not flattering, and most people took note. The president's remarks have given his already tumultuous year even more drama.
Donald Trump fires at Taylor Swift in a controversial social media rant
Donald Trump has a history of causing controversy, and his latest swipe at Taylor Swift is no different. On Truth Social, Trump wrote, "Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?'"
🚨Trum'p is in love with Taylor Swift! All the juvenile boys around 8 or so start calling the girls they like names! It's cute on 8 year old, but on 80 year old, it's creepie, it is time to put Grandpa in a "HOME".

And yes Donald we ALL NOTICED🤮🤮🤮🤮 https://t.co/QWMm6QkM0Q
This is not the first time Trump has spoken about Swift. Trump has spoken about her previously, particularly when there is a large news event. During one House Republican meeting, Trump spoke about Swift, fearing she might vote for President Joe Biden in the election.
Previously, Trump called Swift "unusually beautiful." This latest post appeared to have been a jab at the pop star, particularly if Swift is already embroiled in her controversy. She has found herself involved in a court case with her former friend Blake Lively and actor Justin Baldoni.
Some of the letters that were part of the case even attempted to enlist Swift's help in garnering support for Lively. The court, however, dismissed the letter.
Donald Trump bashes Bruce Springsteen's music and politics
Having blasted Swift, Trump then focused his wrath on Bruce Springsteen, labeling the rock musician "highly overrated." Trump bashed Springsteen's music and politics as a "pushy, obnoxious JERK.
Trump's remarks followed Springsteen criticizing the Trump administration during a concert in Manchester, England.
The rock star condemned the government as harming American workers and deserting those in need across the globe. Springsteen was also critical of Trump's approach to civil rights, foreign affairs, and education.
Trump retorted, writing that Springsteen should "KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT" until he "gets back into the Country." Trump also got in some personal shots, calling Springsteen's skin "atrophied" and making fun of his looks.
The exchange between Trump and Springsteen illustrates how deep the chasm is in American politics, with both sides using their power to make powerful statements.
