Evander Kane's fiancée Mara Teigen is enjoying every bit of motherhood even though her eyes look tired

Evander Kane , Edmonton Oilers’ ice hockey forward, who has been away for far too long now because of multiple injuries, may be back soon, on the ice, but not too soon, as promised by head coach Kris Knoblauch. Anyway, he’s not our concern at the moment. His beautiful fiancée, Mara Teigen , is! The NHL WAG and mom-of-four now shared on her Instagram story a car selfie that looked absolutely stunning to us. But to her? Mara Teigen’s eyes look tired. And the NHL WAG doesn’t know what day it is. How do we know that? Her IG story caption told us, “Can you see in my eyes how tired I am 😴 don’t even know what day it is 🥱🥱 but so happy and grateful 🤍🤍 really cherishing all these moments.”

Mothers are the most stressed humans on the planet Earth. They have innumerable hands to help, innumerable thoughts about the baby, and innumerable hours on the 24-hour cycle. They just don’t stop working. And that’s what transpired with NHL WAG and new mother, Mara Teigen. She shared on her IG story how tired she was and that she had forgotten what day it was. It’s probably the new mom syndrome or baby blues , wherein a new mother goes through temporary changes in her moods, fatigue, sleep disturbances, and more. It happens to every new mother.

But her second line told us everything - Mara Teigen also shared that she was thankful and cherishing every bit of her new motherhood ! The fiancée of Evander Kane had talked about the same in one of her IG maternity photoshoots.

On March 3, 2025, the NHL WAG had shared an IG post of her maternity photoshoot and captioned it, ”I will hold onto these memories forever🩶” No wonder, she’s doing just that after her baby girl’s arrival! She’s cherishing every moment. Even if her eyes look tired from no or lack of sleep.

Mara Teigen took to her Instagram story and shared a few lovely snaps of her kids on April 22. In the first two snaps, her son Hendrix is looking from across the cradle at baby girl Penelope. This moment had Mara Teigen type, “My heart can’t take it🥺”




Then came another snap where Kensington is ruffling through a shelf full of baby products! Probably helping her Mama, who was on the bed with Penelope! Mara Teigen captioned this IG story, “Best helpers🤍” The best part of parenthood is having siblings help each other! Mara Teigen is truly cherishing every moment of motherhood.
