How many home runs will Eugenio Suarez hit this season? Predicting his home run total for the season

Send Push
Eugenio Suarez, the Arizona Diamondbacks, who was traded by the Mariners back in 2023, is stealing the spotlight this season, and for all the right reasons. The third baseman has been performing brilliantly since the start of the season, leading the team to various wins, and even achieving personal records since.

The once-loose end of the Diamondbacks is now a core piece of the team. But, how many homers will Suarez hit this season? Will he break his record of hitting 49 homers in a single season? Will he outperform both Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani? Here are the predictions.
Eugenio Suarez going all in on homersSuarez has been going all in during the 2025 season, and that has been beneficial for the Diamondbacks. The talented third baseman has a total of five hits, all of which are home runs, a rare feat that has been achieved by only a few players since 1900.

The Diamondbacks game with Yankees on April 2, 2025, also proved to be memorable for Suarez, as he hit the sixth grand slam of his career. His grand slam led the team to a 7-5 against the Yankees and also earned him the 2025 NL player of the week award.

Eugenio Suarez’s home runs prediction for 2025With five homers, one grand slam, and 11 RBIs this season, Eugenio seems to be on a roll this year. Back in 2019, when Suarez was still with the Cincinnati Reds, the baseman had scored a total of 49 homers, his career record, which Suarez might break in the current season, provided he maintains the streak.

When Suarez joined the Diamondbacks, he was only going after home runs, which decreased his batting average to .196, and his performance deteriorated. However, Eugenio worked with the Diamondbacks’ coaches and improved his performance, the result of which was clearly seen in 2024. Eugenio scored a total of 30 home runs and 101 RBIs. Upon seeing his performance, the Diamondbacks retained their star third baseman for the $17 Million deal.

In the ongoing 2025 season, Eugenio is just behind Aaron Judge, with the latter leading the table with six homers. Whether Suarez will outperform Judge in the long run or not remains to be seen.
