Jelly Roll Thanks Austin Theory for Rockstar Moment at SummerSlam

Send Push
Jelly Roll made a special appearance on WWE during SummerSlam 2024. He was lucky enough to share the ring with some of WWE’s biggest stars like The Miz, R-Truth , and Austin Theory . Moreover, Jelly Roll not only got to share the ring with these stars but collaborated with them to deliver a moment that has undoubtedly become one of the best from this year’s SummerSlam.

Jelly Roll got into a verbal spat with Austin Theory, but words were only taking them so far. So, Roll decided to hit Theory with a Chokeslam in a moment that has now become a fan favorite and made Jelly feel like a “Rockstar”. Let’s take a look at what Jelly Roll had to say about it while speaking to Logan Paul on the Impaulsive podcast:

“To shoot on it for a second, ’cause I haven’t gotten to do this yet, and this is where I’ve been hoping I’d get to do it. Let’s go. Austin Theory is a superhero. Yeah, he is a hero, is what he is. And I’m not in the business, so I don’t gotta carry kayfabe. Dude made me look like a rock star. I love that dude and will forever, ’cause he told me that whole night, he was like, ‘I got you, dog, trust me.’ And ’cause I sat down with R-Truth and The Miz earlier in the night, and I said, ‘Look, y’all, if we do this right, we should have a top three viral moment.”

Will Jelly Roll ever come back to WWE?

Neither Jelly Roll nor anyone else could’ve imagined that his appearance at SummerSlam 2024 would be such a massive success. He was able to endear himself to the fans by slamming Austin Theory, but ended up getting on Theory’s wrong side. So, it can be said that Jelly Roll still has unfinished business in WWE.

Now Jelly Roll is not a wrestler, but he is an excellent entertainer and that alone makes him worthy of making regular appearances on WWE. We also have to take into account that the fans absolutely adore Jelly, so it would be kind of a waste if WWE don’t end up bringing him back sometime in the future. Moreover, Roll’s words on Logan Paul’s podcast make it clear just how much he enjoyed working with WWE talent so he could be open to a return to the ring.
