Manchester United 's misery in the Premier League continued on Friday night. The Red Devils were handed a 1-0 loss by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge which was their 18th loss of the league season, compounding problems for the Ruben Amorim side.
With just 39 points from 37 games, Manchester United sit just two positions above the relegation zone at 16th place.

Former Man United captain and now a pundit, Roy Keane didn't mince any words in assessing his former club.
âWhat are the positives with this team?â said Keane on Sky Sports. âYou sit up and watch certain teams, and you hang your hat or something. You say theyâre really technically very good, theyâre fit, theyâre brilliant, theyâre good at set-pieces. You look at United and go, theyâre not really good at anything,â he said.
âThe fans, even here tonight, I donât think the United fans are angry anymore. Itâs just an acceptance. Even the managerâs interview there, heâs accepting where they are. Now, obviously, you have to be realistic, but you still want to show emotion and a bit of anger. I think United fans will be going back up the motorway to Manchester tonight going: âOh, thatâs what we thought would probably happen.â And thatâs a sad thing to do,â he added.
Despite reaching the final of the Europa League, where they play fellow struggling Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, it has been another forgettable season for once the giants of European football.
Keane believes if United don't win the Europa League title, the lure of joining the Old Trafford club will drop further. âIf they donât win (the Europa League final) next week, I think the days of everyone wanting to go to Manchester United are gone. I donât think thereâll be players looking to sign for Manchester United. Thatâs gone, that bit of excitement with the club,â he said.

0.92 - Ruben Amorim has won 24 points in 26 Premier League games, a points per game ratio of 0.92. This is lower than Paul Jewell's Premier League points per game (0.94), who managed 24 winless games at Derby when they finished on 11 points in 2007-08. Concerning. pic.twitter.com/ncNV2wHUF6
