Bluesky down: Thousands of users report facing with the app

Bluesky is facing a service outage that began around 6:00 AM ET on Monday. According to tracking website Downdetector, more than 4,000 users in the U.S. have reported problems accessing the platform. The outage is affecting different parts of the service. About 63% of the reports are related to issues with the mobile app, 26% are about the website not loading, and 11% mention server connection problems.


Bluesky has not yet shared any official update about the cause of the outage or when the service will be fully restored. The platform is seen as an alternative to X (formerly Twitter) and has grown in popularity in recent months.
