Jaipur/Alwar: A day after former Rajasthan BJP MLA Gyandev Ahuja courted controversy by carrying out "purifications" of a Ram temple in Alwar after Congress's Scheduled Caste face and Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully visited it, he was suspended from the saffron party's primary membership.
State BJP served a notice on Ahuja Tuesday saying his conduct violated the party's core values and had embarrassed the governing party. He was asked to explain his behaviour in writing in three days, failing which he would face further disciplinary action.
