MUMBAI: Shiv Sena neta Ramdas Kadam fuelled a controversy over his son, minister of state (MoS) for home Yogesh Kadam approving a gun licence for Sachin Ghaywal, brother of Kothrud firing case accused Nilesh Ghaywal, by saying Yogesh had taken the decision on the advice of a person holding high office in the legislature, a 'judge' who gives orders to ministers too, reports Chaitanya Marpakwar.
Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut said Ramdas Kadam was pointing a finger at chairperson of the legislative council Ram Shinde.
Yogesh Kadam, who belongs to the Sena, met deputy CM Eknath Shinde on Friday and briefed him on the issue. Dy CM Ajit Pawar said the gun licence wasn't actually given by the Pune police commissioner and he would not allow any kind of interference in this matter.
Shiv Sena (UBT)'s Anil Parab has alleged Yogesh Kadam overruled the Pune police commissioner's decision refusing to grant an arms licence to Ghaywal.
