Coach Lights:
Turning on bright lights in coaches at night is also prohibited. Passengers should use personal reading lights or avoid turning on the main lights altogether.

Serious Consequences:
In cases where disturbances continue, the train conductor (TT) has the authority to ask passengers to disembark at the next station.

Other Prohibited Activities
Indian Railways also enforces a strict ban on smoking and consuming alcohol in coaches, whether reserved or unreserved. Railway staff are instructed to maintain a peaceful environment, especially during night hours, to ensure passengers' comfort.

Respecting these rules ensures a smoother, more comfortable journey for everyone. If you're traveling by train at night, be mindful of these regulations to avoid penalties and contribute to a pleasant travel experience for all.
